PINE CONE WREATHS!

Sharon and I had a lot of fun making a pine cone wreath this morning on WCSH6.
Living in Maine we have lots of pine cones to choose from. Go on a walk with your children and take a bag and start picking. Big, little and not so perfect. They all can be used.
Use either a box ring or a grapevine to wire your pine cones on or just use that glue gun with the grapevine. It doesn’t have to be perfect. In fact, laying the pine cones in all directions really makes your wreath your own design and has your personality to it.
Once you have put all your pine cones on your can dress it with berries or just a plain bow makes this pine cone wreath look timeless.
Baking your cones at a low oven temperature will take the resin off. Be careful not to bake too long.
